Voice chat ?

So I was doing LoR the other day, and for the first time ever, I heard somebody speaking through Warframe ( telling ppl to get the pads on lvl 2 lol ).... Seriously ive been playing for over a year and this is the first time this happened. I had seen the options but was under the impression for a reason or another - that the in game chat system was not functional. Why I did not dig further at an earlier time, I don't know.

 

Now, im trying to figure out how this all works. I'm looking through options, and I guess the most perplexing thing to me is that I cant find a " Push to talk " button / feature.

Pretty sure the default key is "C". It should be listed in the audio options I think, or maybe the Gameplay options.

in a game whenever i don't know the button for something i always go to keybindings to find the answer there. I also think the default is C. IDK why people don't use it though. i just dont like it.

I believe the voice chat would be more used if you would get more response when talking, as of now you don't know if you transmit your voice to the other players.

The feature is only visible in keybinds and the default is C if you want to use it I typically dislike it though since the audio quality isn't as good as something like Skype
