The new strange mission doesn't work

When I  go to the missions there's no synthesize target.i have played all of the missions 10+ times yet no synthesize targets

do you have the scanner on your gear slots?

are you doing the missions on Phobos? i would recommend if Simaris doesn't pop up at the beginning of the mission, abort and try another node, i hoped between exterminate, capture and rescue missions when i did it and whe i ran my wife through this quest.

also make sure you have the siphon traps and scanners equipped in your gear slots.

D'Arrest / Skyresh / Sharpless on phobos with a synthesis scanner did Simaris pop out saying stuff like "There is a synthesis target. Track it with the synthesis scanner !" or something like that ?

Only advice I can give you is to search everywhere and make sure you have the synthesis scanner equipped (not a codex scanner). If you look through the synthesis scanner you can "track the target". You should see blue energy leading you to the target. If Simaris pops up at the beginning of the mission then the target is there.
