Game Freezing when Opening Nav, Joining Party, switching to Public?

The game freezes for a good 60 seconds every time I try to open Nav while on Public, or when I switch my matchmaking from Solo to anything else.  It also happens when I attempt to join someone else's party.  Often times, after joining, I can see that I'm in the party because I can see the party chat, but none of the party icons show up at the top of the screen.  I then get dropped from the party after about 10-20 seconds and have to be reinvited.  When I get reinvited however I always managed to rejoin correctly, instantly.  I'm pretty sure all of these problems are connected.  Does anyone know what could be causing it?  My computer can run the game fine, so it's not that.  I've also tried it on various people's routers and with various internet providers, so that's not the issue either.

I've had this problem for good few months, what unexpectedly fixed it was updating ALL drivers. I don't know which one was the problem but it certainly wasn't graphics card or cpu, I tried those before. This has also helped a few other people here on the forums who had that problem. 

 

For convenience in updating those dozens of drivers you might want to use a third party application like driver booster for example. Last I checked it was free and it allows you to update all of your drivers with just one click. I've used it myself and had no problems.
