Staticor - Crit Build

I´m in the process to forma the staticor, and it seems that despite the 10% crit chance, this weapon crits a lot much like the Syn Simulor. Is a crit build better than the standard status + rate of fire?

Crits will increase damage, but severely hurt how amazing this weapon can be. If you stack corrosive and blast you wind up with radiation and blast providing area control while corrosive eats through most of the tough enemies in the game. I cannot over-emphasize how important the massive CC from radiation and blast can be in high level play. Multishot, speed, and flat damage round it out very nicely. If you push crit you will do slightly more damage, but that's not at all worth it imo.

I would rather go for as much status as possible. Since the crit build will not save you in later missions, the radiation proc however, will make enemies fight each other. If I were you, I'd go for as much radiation/status as possible, you have a "nyx-in-a-box" basically.

Any suggestions for a Crit and Status build? I mean mods wise. I am a little confused about the modding :P

yes.... since Staticor creates Explosions.... Crits will outperform any other Damage Mods...
