-Tzek4- Posted April 20, 2016 Share Posted April 20, 2016 anyone else get these near your house/apartment? they are i think relatives to tarantula hawk wasps but these are cricket hunters? i never have gotten stung before but i know for sure hawk wasps are supposed to give incredibly painful stings and was wondering has anyone gotten stung by these? do you freak out when they get near pets(like cats who watch them)? Artekkor Posted April 21, 2016 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Thank goodness no. Russia has pretty neat wild life... No super poisonous or super painful bastards... Except for rare few. I heard our's rare wasps have a particular trait of always aiming for the forehead. Combined with their painful sting - people often compare being stung by one to being hit hard by a hammer.
