Best place to farm for fusion cores?

Triton or Hieracon

Triton/Hieracon.

Sorties 5-7+ days in, when you have atleast half of the list checked off, if you're tired of babysitting drills.

Triton is also good.

Sorties , one week of cores

Sorties give a lot of fusion cores once you got most of the rewards from the current season(and actually way too many when you don't have them aswell).

Otherwise triton(neptune) and hieracon(pluto). Both are excavations and both have a 25% chance of giving you 5 rare cores on rotation A (that's excavator 1 and 2).

They are also great if you are looking for void keys. Both drop all t3 keys. Hieracon also drops t4 keys and triton also drops t2 keys.

And finally you have a chance to get life strike in rotation C on hieracon (That's where the mods and drop and then it starts again with A). You might have to wait for the second C rotation tho, which is after 8 excavators. Hieracon is also easier overall because you are going to fight infested and triton will have corpus.

Sorties, void etc. basically everywhere,where also drops something that would be worth your time.

Other than that, as people suggested above. Triton and Hieracon are among the most popular places.
