Edo armor chest plate

So i decided to bought edo armor and when i looked at the chest part, the chest partvis just two smal part pieces. Can any body tell me is there any special effect of this chest armor?

When you slide/take damage it generates "armor" on your chest that shines depending on your energy color.

That's it, it has no effect, and that's the whole chest plate

A status symbol that you're so rich, you're able to throw away good money to give your warframe a pair of metal nipples.

Srsly though, the edo chest plate is just....why? Samurais from the Edo period had actual chest armor, they didn't wear a pair of metal nipples for torso protection.

That's it.  I like it.  It's a cool little addition if you like your frame and don't want a huge piece of armor covering the chest.
