Melanie smiles.

"I was told by the Colonel to speak with you." She says. "As I cannot spend my day running back and forth between people, I will leave the details with you... Representative. Tell the Colonel the crew at the landing site will have the goods for trade."

She places a holo-pad on the desk.

"And don;t worry about him escaping." She says. "He won't make it off this rock alive, if he is stupid enough to try."

It has a picture of Sven and the charges: Assault, endangering public servants, extortion....

The list contains several small time offenses and ends with:

"And generally being unpleasant to civilians."

Therese examined the charges, "extortion, attempts of armed assault, endangering civils safety, and generally being a jerk"

She looked at Melanie and smiled a bit kavat-ish

"Looking from the standpoint of the wartime laws, this chap has already earned two death sentences. I'll inform Teloch of our logistic solution and of this miserable snail. My mentor was running low on ballistic dummies for his personal armory of late, so... It makes me almost cheer for this human-hided spew to get to the Terminus or to his syndicate headquarters. Imagine his embarrassment of being "bought-out" from his own organization by a Tenno warlord for the sake of personal needs"

Lord chuckled menacingly. "Paid for silence? Maybe. Trained for silence? Maybe not..." He began a series of rapid pulses of electricity that would hopefully coerce him into talking.

The Operative jerks but simply repeats that he was paid for his silence. He seems to put emphasis on PAID. His index finger and thumb twitch, as if he is trying to rub them together.

"If he gets off planet." Melanie says. "Then any chance of surviving this are lost to him. Perrin has requested he be brought in alive because he is 'a no-flight risk'."

She laughs.

"I'd imagine he already feels that way." She says. "Perrin is using his accounts to pay the bounty. According to a few civilians who say they saw the ship, they are being very generous with what constitutes 'information leading to capture'."

Lord nodded, getting the point. "Well, if you insist..." He placed a bag in the Tech's hand. Based on its weight, it was filled with platinum, along with a decent amount of credits.

"Pleasure doing business." He says. "Sven hired us for this. Said it would be easy, go in, stun a few people, then hand them over. Something about a ransom. Said he had a friend who had big plans. Didn't ask more, wasn't part of the job."

He looks at you.

"If it helps we were told not to harm you." He says. "So if you'll kindly release us, we'll be on our way."

"Half?" The Drahk master says. He clamps his fist over his heart. "Ack, and here I was hoping we could be friends. But it looks like we'll have to be opponents."

He lifts a Grinlok rifle and salutes.

"Well fare thee well, lass." He says. "When you see me cash in the bounty remember we could have been partners in this."

He swaggers off, seeming to become harder to see with distance.

"Either he'll try to lay low and "feral", or he'll try to commit suicide, which is doubtful due to the obvious lack of guts"

She casually leaned against the aperture of the door. "A bit earlier you mentioned some "Oro-keepers". I'm curious what they are" She invitationally gestured, pointing at the chambers insides, "We may try to trade with answers to the curious questions both of us might have. If you don't mind, of course"

Lord chuckled. "Unfortunately for you, it won't be so easy. See, you all damaged quite a lot of sensitive equipment, and someone needs to fix it..." he gestured around the room. "So you and your friends will be staying here until it's back up to snuff." The Techs who were still alive had been treated and brought back inside by the Guild's guards.

Despite the fact that you know which way he was heading, the arrow seems to have no effect.

His voice comes from behind you.

"Tricky one aren't you." He says. "But Ol Hemet is a quick one."

A small item rises off the ground and emits a blinding flash of light, coupled with a light chuckle.

As the sound fades you see no sign of Hemet anywhere.

"Unfortunately I am not at liberty to discuss them." She says. "You would have to talk to Grandmaster Tak. And I am somewhat busy. Sven has several people up in arms."

She bids you farewell and leaves the room.

You see the Frost sitting cross legged. It seems odd. As you watch you feel your frame power down. It seems unresponsive. Without it you can no longer seem to contact Gritlok.

"Why?" Darrin asks. He does not seem concerned, merely curious.

Ko-Rovak grunts and tries to move forward, slowly raising his Miter, but unable to hold it due to the wait. He then falls down on his knees, with the extreme weight of the warframe pushing him down.

"I have to serve them... Did you really think you could just magically free me?"

The miter dropped to the floor, causing the saw blades to harmlessly slide across the floor. He started crawling towards Darrin.

A loudspeaker activates.

"Executuive Sven is wanted by the Perrin sequence for questioning regarding a recent series of events. Any information leading to his capture will be rewarded with 500,000 credits.  Reward for capture: 1,000,000 credits, plus bonus decided upon after questioning."

Wanted posters appear around the planet. At firing ranges, restaurants, even in the Council chambers.

Another message goes out across Tenno servers, to the Orogin system.

Luna stands just outside the Orbiter by the same airlock she had walked out of a few days earlier when they had first docked with the citadel. Helios is circling around Luna, scanning and generally watching the area while she is talking both to Ceda and intereacting with the various holographic screens around her.

"...Of course Operator, I'm doing sweeps as we speak. But it would be much more effecient if I had access to the planets security feed as well. If we cooperated with those allready searching - which seems to be a priority or this would not reach the Tenno grid- we could improve our reach significantly."

"Allright, open a channel to the Chancellor."

"Establishing connection on screen 3." Ceda responded while Luna turned to the screen.

A few minutes later, after Theresa has returned to her paperwork. She gets the feeling she is being watched. A hooded figure in Ornate robes stands before her desk. His arms are folded and the hood casts deep shadows over his face.

"You summoned me?" He asks amused.

The Warframe sits silent. The voice echoes in your mind.

"You do not have to serve them." He says. "There is nothing left they can offer you. Nothing left they can take if you reject them."

He sounds slightly sad.

"No one can free you except you." He says. "You must decide what you will be, slave or warrior. No one else can."

The alarms cease but the doors remain locked.

Hemet appears to be long gone. However upon examining the blinding mine you see a note taped to the bottom. It has a set of coordinates and the words "If you change your mind."

The Tech mumbles something but moves with the rest. Ryoko raises an eyebrow.

"Clever." He says. "Are you going to handle this personally or should I broadcast this info to the other hunters?"

Therese were rather surprised due to the suddenness of the visitor. Do they use short-length teleporting?

"No, I did not. But I intended to. I'm surprised Melanie kept me from the trouble of getting in touch with you, Grandmaster"

She turned on the chair and leaned against the table.

"A bit earlier, Chancellor said something about the "Oro-keepers". Although it's not a part of my duties, but I would really like to listen on this particular topic"

"So what are the last know locations of this Sven?"

"We could check his quarters at Perrin." He says. "But that's probably where everyone else is headed. Maybe the labs. We might find some evidence there."

"You asked about the Oro-Keepers." Tak says. "And so I am here. Wether or not you intended such is irrelevant."

He takes a seat.

"The Chancellor was wise not to speak of us, for we are not under her domain. Nor has she any authority to call me here." He says. "We answer to a higher authority."

He falls silent and it is apparent he is waiting for questions.

"Higher authority? You mean the ways or the void dogmas?" She asks first, being obviously surprised by the overall religious-like reply.

"Would you tell me about your mission and functions? It may sound a bit rude when asked by the outsider, but I'm one of those people who perceive others through the prism of their activity. I hope the question doesn't insult you"

"We answer to life and death." Tak says. "And the necessity of both."

He pauses.

"First a question, Major." He says. "For all this knowledge must be guarded. What is the greatest power this frame possesses?"

A hand is placed on the desk and you recognized the design of the Nekros Prime who assisted against the Acolytes.
