Bork is shaking. After a few seconds you realize the Manticore is laughing. The modified shells from the Grattler race up towards the assault craft, shredding its armor. It drops back out of range, firing wildly.

"Understood." He says.

On their rabid race to the village, two more small attack vessels attempted to trail them. While Bork shoot them with a jolly glee, Ulf evoked snowglobes with a free hand each time hostile vessels picked up a firing trajectory. It was momentarily defence, but still proved efficient when used against tracing rounds (praised be the back view mirrors!)

"Reminds me the operation Overtake... Good old times!"

Fell motioned for one of the three of his soldiers to break up in fragments. Its parts move to the civilian group to create a barrier akin to the one moving along with Tsun and him.

He lets the other two lay down suppresive fire and keeps an eye out for nullifiers, since they disable his units instantly.

"Jenny get that jammer back up." The leader says. "Synergy is counting on us."

"Yes commander." The woman says. "Jammer in place, but it would be more effective if we can get it onto the communications deck."

The commander looks at you.

"Thank you Tenno." He says. "We were in a spot of trouble there."

"Won't work. They can carry only one tactical torpedo per a flight. The torpedo carriers are coming back at the base and will deliver my request for additional help. Judging by the hostile reinforcements frequency, we obviously need more power than one standard anti-dreadnought wing," Ceforus paused "I requested... "special means". But the problem is that what we will get depends on the voting of four other warlords. In order to get what I asked for, we need the approval of at least two more warlords, and, speaking frankly, that is not warrantied. Command your defender ships to get ready to assist reinforcements when they'll come out of punch and hope that Melanie was convincing enough with her offers; we'll recognize the situation and develop tactics once we see the actual reinforcements composition"

"Another bad news: AMP ships are running out of their own energy capacities. The one that is feeding Zariman is at 32%, the one on the Vengeance's back is at 44%, and the Iterus feeder is on 51%. The necessity to swap dreadnoughts may arise, and the need to regroup with it"

Using the cover of defensive ships, four remaining torpedo carriers charged their fold engines and hopped back to the Origin system.

"Understood." Ryoko says. "If we can get the Citadel back and running we will be fine. Once our AA defenses are online they won't stand a chance."

Hemet disappears and as you draw closer you see a trail of energy arc between several corpus techs, disarming them. They look around on confusion as sniper shots take them down.

As the new enemies attempt to get into position, the allied ships regroup. The Galleons appear no worse for the wear, but the fighters have sustained massive casualties, and Theylin's cruisers are down by three.

Las you watch a ripple seems to move through the empty space between the groups. Suddenly, explosions rock the enemy fleet, swarms of missiles appearing from nowhere. As the impact strange void bubbles appear around some of the ships. The void cascade missiles are horrifyingly effective.

"The power of the Void will cleanse corrupt." A voice hisses. "Red Veil has arrived."

The cloaked allied ships fall back behind the barrier. No doubt readying another barrage.

Once nearly breaking through the gates of the village and alerting the local security forces, Ulf hopped down while Bork flayed the grattler and shoot the damned aerial crafts that were too persistent with a wicked laughter. Man, this dude really loves "dakka"... The scene was spectacular enough to let the local tenno understand the siding of the recurring visitors.

At first, Ulf doubted that he would lift the bloody thing, but while approaching it, his Frost's lights began to shine as brighter, signalling the overcharge. Feeling reassured of the ability to pick up the damned thing, he tossed it behind Bork, hopped on the driving seat, and hit the gas pedal.

Seems like not only grineer enjoy high speeds and dakka fest. Ulf appeared to be an equally wicked driver (at least in critical situations). After another high-speed jump and landing, the radio turned on, vocalizing a lively tune.

nodding his head to the drum beats and casting occasional snowglobes, Ulf asked

"Having fun times, are we?"

The manticore continues laughing. He roses the Grattler down and pulls out tow strange cylindrical launchers that glow green.

Las he fires them you see twin orbs of glowing green wind up towards the pursuing ship. They collide with it and it bursts into fragments.

After about seven minutes since torpedo ships departure, at the solid distance from the main skirmish site three new ships came out of punch. Two of them were fresh AMP "turtles", while the third one was absolutely new piece of tech.

The unknown ship looked like a mix between a jumping gate and a huge flying Dera with six rails placed at the edges of a conditional hexagon. The "body" part of the craft was hollow at the centre, supporting the semblance with a jumping gate. The "Body" appeared to be rather compact and, judging by the amount of ivory and gold, used the Orokin technological pieces. The overall sizes of this ship were comparable to an average heavy cruiser.

Both AMP ships docked to the "rail" ship's opposite body sides, and the construct began to move. With its movement, the rails began to light, and the interaccelerators placed around the rails began to circle with accelerating speed.

"... Ol' bastard Bullseye managed to bargain us a heavy artillery" Ceforus half whispered amazed, "This is the Gungnir prototype. It is a space glass cannon and so it needs protection. Ryoko, The ship needs cover, especially in front. Charging would take some time and the fires are limited to two or, perhaps, three. C.A.L.C, calculate the perfect linear firing trajectory for 400 to 450 meters wide line that pierces the highest tactical threats; ignore the "punch through" and  "distance" arguments"

"Calculations complete, transmitting coordinates now." C.A.L.C says. "Moving Defenders to support positions."

The ships drippy their shield bubbles, this time merging to form a larger bubble around it.

The remaining Dreadnoughts still charge towards Lord's newest ship. Nina seems to discount the heavy artillery.

The bubbled ship slowly moved into the firing position and began to line up its direction according to the received coordinates. The rails extended both forward and backwards, while the interaccelerators stopped to be visually distinguishable due to their insane rotation speed. The lights of the ship's "body" part began to glow wildly, capable of blinding an unprotected observer. The radiational fone around the ship started to look threatening.

"To all forces, the round is 80% ready, Disengage your current targets and retreat now if your position is at least a mile close to the beam trajectory. C.A.L.C, send the warning signal and the escape routes to the allied vessels now being within the "death zone""

Tsun is visibly flickering now.

"Fine." He says. "A little tired, but still good."

As one the allied ships engage thrusters and fall back. Their hailstorm of fire keeps the enemy ships from following.

As the round finishes preparations Nina finally seems to realize something is up.

"All Dreadnoughts switch targeting, destroy that... thing!" She screeches. Her command ship rockets above the conflict, and out of range. The Dreadnoughts, caught firmly in the sights, try to turn to open fire.

"Do say it when it becomes too much." Fell replied, surpised that no nullifier appeared yet.

The soldiers where just rapidly taking down targets, aiming at a new one as soon as their current target dies.

As if in response to his thoughts, a Scrambus, with a Nullifier pack, swings around the corner. A quick check would reveal it to be a Slo scrambus. However instead of fighting it rockets past you.

As the robotic units collapse, two more forms charge through, a woman in armored robes with a glowing spear, and a Tenno in a Zariman suit, firing a Gammacore at the fleeing Corpus.

As soon as the bubble passes by Fell he let's his units reform. He looks after the Scrambus, knowing that his weaponry is useless against it and let's his soldiers fend off the other enemies.

"You know those two, Tsun?"

The ship's lights had paled for a brief moment before the sudden and violent folding of its rails. An intricate net of sustainable radiational glow emerged from behind the "rail ship's" rear engines. But the artillery ship didn't shoot a visually recognizable projectile or a beam... Judging by the energy used, it supposed to be a gigantic laser beam or something equally destructive, but still, there were nothing visible...

The projectile "shown" itself in three seconds after the shot. The invisible force began to utterly disintegrate each and every material vessel onto dust, junk and atoms within a certain radius on its way. Unfortunate small fighters that were retreating from the fight dematerialized as if they were but a pesky flies, while the larger vessels were milled to powder and niblets by linearly moving invisible force.

The more advanced radiational and energy radars revealed the nature of this barrage: all the energy was used to generate a droplet-like 420 meters wide conventionally invisible gravitational anomaly of immense power that moved thrice as fast as an average heavy torpedo and left a mighty trace of radiation. The load was powerful enough to pop and grind smaller vessels within the 1000-1400 meters radius from the center of it's volatile "core". The most casual and probably accurate description would characterize this barrage as a moving black hole that used it's immense gravitation field to smash matter entities.

The anomaly approached the hostile dreadnoughts...

"We need to retake the Citadel." He says. "So we can assist those in orbit."

Ordis pinged Richard's HUD and switched his comm channel: someone had mentioned the words "retake" and "Citadel" in one phrase.

"Tak?  That you?" he asked as he dropped a Benevolent Decoy from the center of a group of three white Archons before kicking off from the floor again, tearing through an older-model Archon with a Phaedra, and flying out through the hole in the corner of the ceiling and wall.  "We've retaken about 70% of the above-ground Citadel, and the highest two floors are completely clear.  If you can get me an Obelisk that's at least a third of a meter in length I can finish the rest of the building, but we'll still need help to clear the underground levels.  We don't know how far they've made it down there, but since the turrets are still shooting at the bad guys, I'm gonna guess they haven't reached the Command Center yet."

Alan ignores the gesture and leaps over the two Tenno. He drop kicks one Archon through the window, soaking up bullets in a electric shield before shocking and shoving the shield onto the second. The third struggles to breathe after a quick chop to the throat and Alan strikes him twice in the shoulder and hip and he collapses.

Alan straightens his robes and looks back at you.

"I don't actually need the chair." He says. "I just enjoy the luxury."

(( I'm back! ))

*She smiles and folds her arms* "You See?, Zaeed dearest?, he did all that, and this is his real body.."

*Zaeed sighs* "Shut..up..." "Where to now Alan?, how can we help?
