Avoid damage as MUCH as possible. All the enemies are melee, with the exception of the Osprey clouds, Tar MOAs, and Ancients.

You will take a LOT of damage, very quickly. You want to focus on SURVIVING, not killing everything, though it does help if you can do so.

Any frame that can slow enemies (frost, nova, etc.) will help out immensely in surviving the alert.

 

Unless you can deal upwards of 20000 damage very quickly to a group of enemies, better to carry weapons that are good at CC'ing (jat kitty, sonicor, etc.)

 

Remember, the objective is not: Kill everything in sight for 10 minutes.

It's: Survive for 10 minutes.

Take specters. They scale with enemy levels, and you'll easily end up with allies ranging anywhere from 110 to 200, just like the enemies.

Viral procs are invaluable to chunk off the massive health pools enemies will no doubt have.
