[SOLVED] Is it okay to 'Necro' a post if it's still relevant, and new info regarding it has been revealed?

Title.

A while ago I made a General Discussion topic listing all the revealed info about Archwing's upcoming improvements and content for people to discuss about. Now, new info has been revealed in Devstream 76, and I'm wondering if it would be wrong to 'bump' the post after editing it with all the new info. It's almost 2 months old now, last comment was May 5th.

It got some nice attention and I thought it would be nice to start that up again. The topic is still relevant, and now has more content that hasn't been discussed in it.

If you edit the OP then I think it's ok. Explain this in the bump post.

Just bumping things isn't ok. Then you'd have to create a new thread where you explain the new situation and can link to the old thread.

I've bumped my bug reports before that go unfixed for multiple patches.

I was thinking of bumping my old post suggesting that the Revive | Abort UI be overhauled - aka make the mouse easier to find in the screen and make the buttons 3x bigger.

Who really cares if you do?  I swear some people complain about anything....

If you have something to add to a thread, post it.  It doesn't matter if the thread was created 5 minutes ago or 5 months.  If the thread isn't relevant, it'll disappear in a few hours anyway.
