Simaris - do i/am i suposed to get standing if I help scan when I don't have a target

OK, the recent patch notes seemed to suggest (at least to me) if you actively take part in scanning a simaris target, you get the standing for it, even if its not 'your' target, or you don't have a target at all.

 

Helped a guy on the invasion just now, to scan one enemy per run, and I got the standing pop-up at the time of scanning, but no actual standing logged at the end of the mission.

 

So, I'm a bit confused - am I supposed to get standing, and its bugged, or am I not supposed to get standing?

You are supposed to. Does the daily amount at the simaris terminal go down?

go on ceres spy missions and scan all u get about 8k affinity each time... or 258xp with xp booster on nono alerted enemies
