Need help with Kavats

I already have an Adarza kavat and I'm currently trying to get myself a Smeeta kavat. The thing is, if I start the breeding process now, I'm worried I'll end up getting another Adarza one. I was wondering if there was any way that I could guarantee myself a Smeeta kavat, maybe through genetic imprints? I have absolutely no idea of how genetic imprints work and have very minimal knowledge to pets for that matter. Before kavats were released, I finished the kubrow quest, leveled him up, switched to my carrier and that was that. I really do not want to go back to the derelict if my second kavat fails to become a Smeeta.

Do you have an estimate on how much they would cost? And how would I use the two imprints during incubation?

ask for the ugliest, most unwanted smeeta guys

both may cost around 30 or a bit more, it depends

in uncubation menu you will be given a choice to use imprints or begin a random incubation (that menu will pop right after "checklist-menu" (the one that says that you need like 10 dnas and power core and stuff))

You might be able to trade your Adarza kavat imprints for 2 smeeta kavats that way you would get a smeeta for sure.

+ Or ask friend or clanmates for Imprints and after breeding u will make Imprints and return them
