(XBOX)TheEpicguy7777
I don't know if for my Gammacor I should just go pretty much straight up magnetic damage or should I mod it for damage. (Ex. Hornet Strike, Barrel Diffusion etc.)
0 Urlan
Mod for damage at first and then add extra elements and perhaps an ammo mutation after if you still have enough room. Hornet Strike, Barrel Diffusion, Lethal Torrent, then Pistol Ammo Mutation, and lastly your choice of elemental mods to fill it out. 0 CatalystD
At the moment some mods are pretty much compulsory in weapons builds, namely base dmg mod and multishot mods: Synoid Gammacor is no exception: throw in Hornet Strike, Lethal Torrent and Barrel Diffusion for damage. On top of that you will want to build in other elemental dmg type(s), because magnetic dmg is good at dealign with shielded enemy but poor against armor: electric + toxin for corrosive is a logical choice. You can further take advantage of its high status chance, and also add in heat + cold for blast which can knock down enemies. Other slots are pretty much life-improvement options: Anemic Agility for extra fire-rate hence status chance; Pistol Ammo Mutation mod to overcome the poor ammo efficiency; Ruinous Extension for extra lazer range; etc. Find the aspect of the weapon that you feel uncomfortable with, and use the relevant mod to make up for it.
