Abilities:

 

1. CONVERSION -- 25 Energy -- Joule fires a laser from one hand that deals 100/175/225/250 damage to a single target. If the target is killed, they become a 25 point energy orb. AFFECTED BY FOCUS

 

2. REFRACTOR -- 50 Energy -- For a duration of 6/7/8/9 seconds, Joules body dematerializes where he's immune to damage and knockback. In this state he cannot use his melee weapon and status effects such as poison still affect him. AFFECTED BY CONTINUITY 

 

3. LASER CIRCUS -- 75 -- Joule projects a permeable laser dome around an area that reflects all damage back at the enemy for 10/15/20/25 seconds and ignites enemies that pass by it. AFFECTED BY STRETCH AND  CONTINUITY

 

4. TEMPEST BLAST -- 100 -- Joule charges energy by raising both arms in the air then claps his hand together creating a massive explosion around him dealing 1000 damage while enemies far away are blinded. AFFECTED BY STRETCH 

 

 

[Kasarigami]

- Mid- Long range Weapon

- Realitively fast weapon to handle

- Specializes against Grineer and Corpus, extremely weak against Infested

- Combo involves the swinging and flailing of the chain with the blade for the slashing

 

Pros:

- Fast Rate - 100% Stagger - Longest Reach - Good Charge Damage - Can hit multiple enemies

 

Cons:

- Slow Charge time - No Armor Piercing

lol no offence but whats the point ultimately of the refractor ability. i've just always found that these you cant hurt me and i cant hurt you are just kinda redundant and usually useless.

 

 

also on your weapon ideas, 100% stagger is 10000000% over powered

 

edit: love the concept art, looks like a lab coat kinda :P

Refractor is just like a OP Iron Skin, Mirror Flux is a stronger snow globe that does damage, Tempest Blast is a Radial Blind with damage. Joule is too strong.

It feels more like you had two or three frame ideas with maybe one or two skills and then threw them together,

i don't think you know what joules are. and thus your entire argument falls flat on its face.

You do know that some melee weapons do have 100% stagger chance, Dual Ether for example

I like the idea of Death Effects with abilities, like you have in Conversion- and having a skill that allows you to spam it with relative impunity speaks to the Mage in me.
