Redeemer Shot Proc

So I've been bustin out the Redeemer like it's the only weapon I need and love is what it makes me feel.

But I'm interested in th proc from the charged shot. The wiki and everyone else says it's BLAST damage which yes I see that but the damage indicators I receive on hit is IMPACTand it has left me confused. Mostly because I would to know whether or not the IMPACT is true alongside the BLAST because of a specific mod: SHATTERING IMPACT.

 

If someone could clear up whether or not this mod will proc from those charge shots considering the dmg indictators are pointing towards IMPACT that would be real swell as 9 points is 9 points you get me.

not sure, but you could test this in the simulacrum against a high levelled heavy gunner that can take the hits. keep shooting it until it's health bar goes from yellow to red, indicating all of it's armour has been taken. if after 20 or so shots the bar is still yellow, then you have your answer.
