Vote To Change Host Option?

I think this would be a good idea, a simple vote to change who hosts the game. People who know they can host would be able to offer to change the host to themselves too.

Sounds like a decent suggestion.

 

There are issues with extremely bad hosts at the moment, So it would be nice to have the option to suggest a change if someone in the group has a better connection.

And maybe option to see pings of hosts(@edit - while voting), to know which host will be more viable?

I feel an option to chose to not join any current games would be interesting. Basically start it like a private match but let people join in to your game.

My problem is I have a fast internet, so people end up joining me in the lobby. Unfortunately, my PC isn't as good as my internet, and that situation isn't going to change in the near future, so once in-level, my hosting is inversely related to my fps. I'd be happy to pass hosting on to a pub squadmate who could actually handle hosting the mission. Otherwise, perhaps instead an option that disables being host?

An option to disable yourself from being host would be cool, yeah.

The game should also come with a quick scan to determine if you can host a game, and take it off as default.

 

You could turn it back on at the settings but with big red letters telling you it's a bad thing.

Good suggestions here: marking yourself as unable to host and vote to change hosts, along with current ping displayed.

I'd like to see them all implemented.
