The loading screen freezes and then i lose connection with the host

Greetings, fellow Tennos, since this update i have been experiencing a huge FPS drop in DX9, so i decided to turn DX11(Which is nice) and then those problems have been solved, that means that my FPS in DX9 were between the 15-40 range while with DX11 on, they are always between 40-60.

But that´s not the problem, the main problem is that i want to play with DirectX 11 turned on, but if i do it, the loading screen seems to freeze for some 10 seconds and then the message about "Connection with the host lost. Returning to multiplayer menu." appears, and then i´m back on my Liset (Already happened even when loading the dojo in Public). When i play solo, that isn´t a problem, the loading is fine, nothing stutters, decent FPS range. and when i play with DirectX 9, the FPS are very low, but i can still load the game in public.

I don´t know what´s causing this, but i can´t play without DX11 off(Massive FPS drop without it), so i´m looking for a way to fix it, That´s all.

I just upgraded to a desktop, and picked up this lovely problem as well. If I set my game to DX9, it connects perfectly fine to parties, but as soon as I turn DX10 or 11 on, I can't join anything. DX9 isn't a huge issue, but it kinda removes the reason that I upgraded in the first place, especially since DX9 has large issues with DoF effects in Warframe.

As suggested, I optimized with DX11 checked on the launcher, and it still hangs after the load screen while entering a mission, displaying a host connection issue soon after. When I optimized with neither DX10 or 11 checked, it worked, but that's not really a surprise is it?

This isn't an intermittent issue, as it's incredibly easy for me to duplicate, and I can see from cruising the forums that it's nothing new (earliest post I saw was 2014).

check if one of your router settings is not good set or just port forward the ports for warframe and see what happens I had this problem before with a bad router.

I don't see why port forwarding would even be necessary if I can easily connect with only DX9 enabled, unless changing which version of DX I use has an effect on the port type used, and that quite honestly makes zero sense.

Maybe there's something I don't get about forwarding and the way Warframe handles ports, but either way, a rendering setting really shouldn't have any bearing on connectivity.

I started having this problem since the Nightwatch tactical alert. There's nothing wrong with my router, and none of the other fixes here seem to work.

I also get the reverse problem where if I start a mission and invite someone, I freeze when they load in and this causes them to lose connection.
