DuskFrame
This is just a design choice that is probably worth revisting. Having the market not live in the game code would allow for much easier updating, especially seeing as accounts are already linked to the website. It should all be web based, then we don't need a patch each time a bundle is added/removed.
weezedog
Yeah the market should be server side, if it is client side then it is most definitely ripe for exploiting. You would be able to hack the client side data and buy anything for free or almost nothing like 1 plat.

A web-based one would be cool in the future!
matrixEXO
All the transactions happen server-side. The client is essentially the UI (like a browser). A web-based one would be cool in the future! Please, gods, no! I have played with games that had part of it's shop on browsers running up certain websites (reliant on IE, worst browser ever) within the game and they all turn out badly. One such game was End of Nations by Trion, where I was playing during the closed beta and until the beta ended, I just could not connect to their online store the entire time (which meant no unit purchases possible at all). It's a horrible idea. If the market were to pull information from the servers whenever we access it, I would be happy though. Sneaking in a few created items, then having the servers get coded up for it to be purchased when the time is right so entering the market just pulls the data off of server and displays them to the player in real-time. But the market must remain as a in-game system with no attachment to any browser or anything like that. EDIT: For anyone curious, they tell us to do stuffs on the IE browser as a "fix" for it. Doesn't work, still bad as it was. Edited June 25, 2013 by matrixEXO
Feam
Warframe could have something a bit like what TF2 did with their "Mann Co" store a while ago. It has been ingame and steam-integrated purchases for years, and then they suddenly just gave it its own website. http://store.teamfortress.com/ You still have to patch TF2 when a new update is out for new items in the ingame store, but the online store updates automatically. Or do you mean you want to remove the current server-based one to make a web-based one ingame the only option, because as matrixEVO noted out, they are far more unstable at times.
