More Tactical Alerts and Acolytes

So, as per the title really.
There needs to be more appreances of Tactical alerts (hell, just make a bunch, and have them appear randomly for periods of time.). The last Tactical alert was the end of May. That's 3, and soon to be 4 months. That's a fair while tbh. These alerts aren't really necessary, as their rewards are generally the challenge, catalysts, Reactors and rare mods that are in the game already.

Now the Acolytes, the last appearance was jsut as long ago as the Tactical alerts! The 14th april was apparently the last appearance. The Acolytes are something I'd assume would be appearing much more often to Tactical alerts, and even 1 a month of something would make sense.
The biggest problem with Acolytes not appearing, is that they drop VERY specialised mods, which can't be acquired anywhere else. This is a big problem. It causes mods like these to have INSANE values on the Trade chat, which can cause newer players to get ripped off really badly. it also limits builds that can make heavy use of these. E.g. I've been dying to make a build on my soma prime with Argon Scope and Bladed rounds, however, I can't do this at all, as the mods didn't drop for me when the Acolytes were up, and, they are incredibly expensive on the market.

I understand DE, that you are busy with War Within, however you've managed to do Tactical alerts before when making large updates, and the Acolytes don't even need any planning! Just choose a planet to put them on and release!!!

Come on DE, you have these systems, now use them!

The last tactical alerts were from Darvo's liquidation sale starting just before the end of his sale on August 31st.

As for the acolytes, their last appearance was in July.

But I agree, tactical alerts could be much more common, though the acolytes' rare appearances fuel the high prices for their mods, which I see as fine, to a degree at least.

More tactical alerts would be nice.

The Acolytes last appeared about 4 weeks ago, though not through a formalized "event".  DE did say they would appear periodically, and they have appeared outside of their "Shadow Debt" debut.  Sure, upping their frequency would be nice, but I kind of like them as they are right now - even if their rewards are pretty good, they don't appear often enough to marginalize the reward overall, which is one thing Warframe screws up pretty often.

As for an official Tactical Alert, those seem to have been subverted somewhat by the Sortie system being an active way to get parts for unique weapons (Vandal/Wraith variants).  There haven't been any recent events that I know of that can be considered a "Tactical Alert" though, so I'll grant you that one.

I agree with the fact that there should be more tactical alert, but the Acolytes appeared 4 weeks ago, didn't they? Also, the tactical alerts, besides being breaks from the usual gameplay, could also bring back some of the items offered way back when. I mean, the Quanta Vandal is worth about 850 platinum right now!

I'm pretty sure that "Tactical Alerts" are generally things that DE is doing to do "dry run" tests to see how players react to certain enemy mechanics or things they are thinking of introducing, so I think we get them when "testing" is needed, not because DE made a "wacky mission" for us to do.

I would really want those Tactical Alerts back with 130+ enemy level.

High enemy levels don't make things "fun", they just make things "spongy".

Fun is when the game play is new and different, not when I get the same stuff regurgitated and reheated at a higher cooking level.

What I meant by that is I liked them because they forced you to think what would be the best team setup, not just bring anything good and cheese it.

I don't disagree.

I liked them because there was usually more then just "bring DPS", but the unfortunate thing was that after the Tac Alert was up for more then 10 minutes, the chats were just "bring Frame X with Weapon Y and it will be a breeze". Basically the "puzzle effect" lasted just only as long at the first team to get the optimal setup, then most people were not running them, as much as just "cheesing" them (I hate that expression, but it's what you kids use these days).

I would rather have more missions with randomized parameters so that we are kept on out toes more. We pretty much all have "default builds" for everything these days, simply because of cookie-cutter missions.

The "enemy level" was not the main difficulty factor, it was based on how weird the missions conditions and events were.
