Off the top of my head, the actions of the alternate user can result in a ban on the account regardless of the main user's actions, some alternate users out of spite can steal, delete items, or intentionally (seen a friend's now ex-husband do this) get the main user banned etc. I'd say just let the alert slide for now, there will be other catalyst alerts in the future.
