Exilus Adapter add or drain mod capacity?

Question

Before applying an exilus adapter, I would like to know if it add(like aura) or drain(like normal mod) mod capacity?

If it drains mod capacity then it is no different from normal mod. Unless I have a matching polarity aura that adds more mod capacity to have extra to use for exilus mod, else I think I will just leave it alone for now.

If it adds to the total mod capacity like aura then it is wonderful lol

The adapter itself, only unlocks the mod slot, it doesn't drain or add.  As blue said above, any mod you put in there though does drain, its just a mod slot they added to allow people to add mods they wouldn't normally put on builds for the most part.

Ah yes I can see that... mods like enemy sense or thief's wit.

I always remove thief's wit when my warframe has maxed out and not used anymore in planet progression.
