Torin's mentioned maintenance shafts were probably only archwing-sized... no reason to bring the Lisets closer than necessary. Also, wouldn't it be nice if we knew _what_ those 'thin defenses' we encounter are? Corrupted, Orokin-collared Kubrows, Level 3 Blobs... Volt likes bows and snipers, and weapons that require concentration and accuracy to be used effectively. He also likes weapons like bows, swords, and throwing knives- weapons based on ancient designs. He likes and will use automatic weapons that are accurate and efficient like soma, dera, or stilletos. He also likes electricity, and things that explode. He despizes shotguns, because of how loud and inaccurate they are at range. He also dislikes any automatic weapon that performs poorly at medium to long ranges, or misses more shots than hit, even when aimed accurately.
