What I wanted to ask is for a way to remove or at least reduce the gore in the game. I have some friends who are very anti-gore, but I'd really like to be able to get them into this game. Why in the world would you not have gore in a ninja, space, shooter, chopping game? Not all people can handle gore or blood. You can but not all people can. It makes them feel sick or highly disturbed. They should have an option to turn off all the gore and blood just like other games have. Sure you like those features but not all people do. But DE can make some "childish" mode for those who don't like gore, like in most MMORPGs (no blood at all, just some colored effect, rainbow, ponies). Since obviously they aren't getting it... Having an option to turn off gore is NOT childish. Some people like me have experienced situations (accidents for example) with lots of blood and gore and were highly disturbed by it. Sure I might be less affected by it but those other people would get reminded of that experience OVER AND OVER just by seeing gore and blood. Please just go somewhere else and troll there. I don't mind gore but sure it does affect some people and I think an option to turn it off could be good for those. I mean come on even bloody (no pun intended) Gears of War has that option. Like seriously, I don't have time to notice the gore, the game is too fast paced. And I find it really weird that you guys play violent games but are against gore... Sure I have experienced those stuff but Im not very affected by it unlike some friends of mine who experienced the exact same thing and really dislike gore because of it. Look at the Battlefield or Arma series for example. It's based on a war but they dont have the high degree of gore like Warframe has and it's a lot more playable because of that, these two even have toggle options for gore. In Warframe the gore has been MASSIVELY exaggerated. Like what Deaths said. Violence =/= Gore. Especially in this game where the gore has been massively exaggerated. (Low size rounds can completely rip people apart.) Sure I can handle some decent amounts of gore but that doesn't apply to everyone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tend to play the game so noticing the gore (which isn't very spectacular or... noticeable) is a bit hard for me. I'm guessing that after each kill you're stopping and contemplating about how mauled the corpses of your enemies are... Here is an advice, stop looking at the corpses and move on, kill or rush or get Thief's Wit, that will draw your attention from the gore. Really, I just don't understand how can you guys say that it's exaggerated when I barely have any time to notice the blood coming out of their puny bodies. It's a fast paced game, I don't stop to think/admire how that grineer lancer got eviscerated by my beautiful blade. If I may, I'd actually say that the gore in this game is quite weak, I can only hope that they will improve the visuals to make it more noticeable... Now, I'm not against you have an option to turn off the gore, I just can't comprehend why you play such games if they have gore in them. I think that gore is an important part of an action game, playing without it seems... childish? It's like watching a fighting movie where people don't bleed (what the hell?). It seems hypocritical to demand a game to censor itself (even if it's just for you) because you can't distinguish real blood from fake, made out of pixels blood.. Maybe you should switch to different genres of games, such as racing, simulator (don't play Surgeon Simulator, you're just going to have a bad time) and, why not even platformers. It's not like it'd kill all the people who do enjoy it and it'd increase the fanbase to those who don't but still want to play. It's not that huge of an issue for those who enjoy or don't care about the gore. Arguing about this isn't going to convince those people to change their beliefs/consciences, if they are comfortable with this game without the gore but uncomfortable with then it's not anyone's place to tell them different. Hell make the gore into a bar like system, so then the right end would be maximum gore, and the left end minimum gore. God how hard is it for u guys to realize that?
