Zenistar disc

I'm having trouble figuring out how to launch the disc out of the zenistar on ps4. Everything I've checked says that a charge attack launches it, however this is not the case for ps4. I figure it's just a glitch.

when you use a charge attack, you shoot it out. if it's not being shot out. it's a bug, either visually, or mechanically.

Do you have Zenistar equipped? It is not working with quick melee attacks. You need to have it equipped and then hold melee attack button. You will swing once and then you throw the disc on second swing (all in one hold of the button).
