Seriously, how do I find Kuva Siphons?

I found one by accident. 20 missions on Uranus and Sedna later I have no idea if it's just RNG or if I'm exploring the map wrong

I think you have to have people that are eligible for it only.  I was having trouble until i started running it solo, since then I have run into them every time.

When you get there, watch the siphon, it will make a noise and raise an arm toward a red cloud that will come to it, you have to use

to capture the cloud, doing this destroys an arm, so you have to do it four times.  Completing it will give you 600-800 kuva.  happy hunting.

I'm running solo too. 20 missions, no siphons

Is it just RNG "shows up at random" like Stalker? Is it "enter the right room" like Acolytes? Is it "guaranteed one room on the way to extract, if conditions are met" like Manics?

pretty much, they show up on the map, i have been playing capture on uranus, the will appear as another assassinate target when you get reasonable.  Im going to try to use max enemy radar, that may help find them, ill let you know.

that they just show up in missions, the siphon will just be sitting there sucking up dust.  I did get a counter on the upper right side of the screen that was red and said kuva extraction 0/8  that may be a sign, but otherwise there was no indication.

That shows up after the siphon has already spawned. So it's just pure RNG?

Actually you find kuva in the planets that the fortress is near.

If its right next to say mars and earth, open one of those planets, and you'll see a red icon above a certain mission, whatever the mission is, its like a constant moving alert but it'll look like a red blood drop on a mission (usually only 2 kuva missions per planet).
