Problems with platinum

Hello sorry to bother everyone but I'm having a serious problem with my platinum. For some time now in the dojo and in Maro's Bazar I'm not allowed to use all of my platinum. Allow me to explain, say if I had 168 platinum and wanted to trade with someone for an item that was 20 platinum. For some odd reason when I select platinum in the trade selection slot it will only let me use 18 of it as if that's all I had. Is anyone else having this problem if so please let me know.

Did you get the PS4 Plus Warframe starter pack? If memory serves correctly, you get 150 plat from it. That starter plat is not tradeable, which is why it shows you only have 18 plat available to you.

Did any of that platinum come with your account? There is such a thing as untradable platinum, meant for buying Warframe/weapon slots and such.

Those 150 plat are only good to spend on the market it's non tradeable plat.

To go a little more into detail: Warframe accounts are free to create, so the platinum they start out with HAS to be untradable, otherwise people would create a thousand accounts and trade themselves all the platinum those accounts come with.

Buying things like frame slots, weapon slots etc. will take from your untradable platinum first though, so that's always something.
