Newish Player and Ash Prime

Tried doing some research but not much info since the nerf. Picked up Ash Prime and was wondering if he's still a decent end game frame since his ultimate got changed out? Any tactics or build suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

his ultimate wasn't what made him endgame, that title goes to his teleport and smokescreen.

Sweet most of the forums I've read from the more recent posts are focusing on Blade Storm. Figured it was the make or break skill for him like a couple other frames.

tbh the new blade storm is better. instead of hitting everything within range of the map you can now focus on hitting just a few targets. Fatal teleport and smokescreen are awesome.  I play ash for fatal teleport along pretty much. its so much fun

I've taken Ash to lvl 300 solo and never once used Bladestorm. He's one of the stronger solo frames.

His passive, Invisibility and Fatal Teleport have always been his strongest attributes.

For newer players I would go with as much Duration as possible. You can just about ignore Power Range. Nothing more than a Stretch mod if even that. Power Strength depends on what you plan to do with him. You can use guns with a Covert Dagger and simply one shot key targets with Fatal Teleport in which case you don't need Power Strength or you can go with a normal melee weapon, preferably a slash based one in which Power Strength depends how high in level you go. Also depends if you want to use Bladestorm.

Appreciate the help guys. Was going to use the rakta dark dagger but with his slash innate ability I might use the Nikana prime and boost power strength to hopefully one shot higher levels. Im going to mess with him some more after Christmas.

Ash is still a really great frame, but if you are going for more of a stealthy frame I would suggest Loki since his invisibility lasts longer and his cc ability is great too.
