Mastery Rank Down ? | Xp revive ?

So i notice someone i know from mr7 now mr6 is this possible ,how he lower mr rank ,and when revive seft will game use xp (affinity) gain from mission ,or from mr xp ,does anyone know the answer ?

when you revive you only lose affinity you gained in that same mission. it is supposedly not possible to go down a mastery rank.

As was mentioned, it only involves affinity gained in the mission itself. If you are MR7, it means you've already ranked up an appropriate number of weapons/warframes that count towards your mastery rank. If you are at a stage where you pass a mastery rank test, you can't lose what you've already gained, as mastery ranks are only gained through weapon and warframe levels, not affinity.

The only way this can happen is if the display glitches out and displays an incorrect MR.

Most likely a glitch, you can never rank down on mastery.
