Rest and Rage With Energy Vampire

So I wanted to ask two simple questions. 

A. Will Energy Vampire wake an enemy up if asleep from rest. 

B. Will Rage increase the damage energy vampire does to enemies

I would test this out myself, but my ps4 is at my college while I'm home for the holidays, and my PC account doesn't have that much stuff to test. If you know, feel free to comment, or private message me. Thank you and happy holidays.
