How are you going to make a decent-looking chainsword?

Every melee weapon in the game has a distinct, almost elegant aesthetic. Even the Fragor.

Chainswords work in 40k because everything there is huge and ugly. Notice that the Eldar don't have chainswords and the Eldar are by far the closest to Warframe's aesthetic.

Different melee weapons? Sure. But that's an entirely different issue to "have chainswords".

How are assault rifles, shotguns and machine pistols the weapons of choice for any ninja?

Tenno are not space ninjas, although Ash is closer to that than others in terms of his abilities.

Tenno are an elite strike force, they lack subtlety like a Jackhammer.

To be honest, Chainswords would fit the game. We already have the Grineer armed with some kind of sawfists and they do a lot of damage.

When i first read the title i was like" oh like the God of war Chain swords". But no it was a thread about a sword from sudeki.

How do you keep melee weapons interesting if they are all swords/daggers? Swords in real life don't vary that much to be quite honest.

I mean, it's almost a lightsaber already. And The Hammer and Axe ARE "out there" since these are Ninjas, and they're supposed to be hurr durr, swords and stealth. Not "TENNO SMASH"

Honestly the only other melees I'd like to see now are either a long-&#! Claymore or a heavy &#! morningstar, as variants of the scindo and frago.

And perhaps a Spear/Bardiche.
