What's interesting is that the bonus multiplies off of the player's Power Strength (which is different from Equinox's Provoke that adds it directly).

  • Nidus with no Power Strength mods has 115% Power Strength. 1.15 x 25% (Parasitic Link's bonus) = 28.75% which shows on your UI.
    • But, Virulence's damage, Ravenous' maggot explosion damage, and healing per second show us that Parasitic Link's Power Strength bonus is multiplicative.
  • So from this example, 1.15 x 1.2875 = 148.0625% becomes Nidus' total Power Strength when Parasitic Link is active. This total Power Strength then affects his other powers.

This is true at least before 19.6.0. Not sure if they tweaked the formula or not afterward.

Edit: Just tested in a pub, this is still how it works. Now for the OP's example...

  • To get 75% Parasitic Link bonus you need 300% Power Strength, so 300% x 25% = 75%.
    • Convert these percentages to decimals, you have 3 x 0.25 = 0.75.
  • Then multiply it by the 300% Power Strength you modded for (we'll use decimal form), you will have 3 x (1 + 0.75) = 5.25 or 525% total Power Strength.
  • That means your Virulence deals 200 x 5.25 = 1050 dmg, Ravenous explosion deals 150 x 5.25 = 787.5 dmg, and heals per second for 20 x 5.25 = 105 HP/sec.
  • The 75% Parasitic Link bonus is the same for your ally. But, how effective it is depends on your ally's modded Power Strength. Just know that you will drastically increase Power Strength for your buddy as well.

In short, have Parasitic Link on an ally whenever you don't need it on an enemy for damage reduction. There's little to no reason not to have it active.

Nice summary of how the power works!

My little addition: this buff allows Frost and Trinity (with abating link augment) completely strip enemy armor without equipping blind rage on them. (obviously Nidus needs blind rage to reacj 300% power strength) Also, both blessing and snow globe makes surviving easier, so you can link to allies instead of enemies.
