A good all around Frame but his playstyle is just not for me overall .I love stealth and support roles so Loki, Ash and Trinity are good for me, I find them fun. Utgarda_Loki Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 I have run an Ex and an Ex Prime for the majority of my time with the game. i have forma-ed my prime twice to replace the two V polarities with a D and a - polarity so i can run better health/shield mods and a high level sprint mod. the set up works well for soloing or rushing levels. i think people tend to move away from them at higher levels because the powers of the Ex warframe are a little basic, there are a lot of other options with more interesting powers and warframes that have a greater ability to contribute to group play, which is more important at higher levels. The Ex powers are all "git out of jail free" cards to some extent, so you can fight large groups of enemies with a low level gun and when it gets to be too much you can blind them and slash dash you way to safety. Some frames doesn't rely much on guns and just go berserk with skills. Which i personally dont find very amusing. NukaKV Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 (edited) I'm one of the rare Excaliburs you'll find in 40-60+ missions. I turned my guy into a tank. Polarized him twice. Still working towards maxing all the mods but I'm working on other frames for Mastery points for a while before going back to 'ol faithful. Maxing stuff is rather costly.
