Question for sniper rifle users about staus effect.

Hello,

Though i have never used sniper rifles before i have begun using them recently since i got some good riven mods for some sniper rifles. The ones i mainly use are Lanka,Vulkar Wraith & Snipetron Vandal. I have a question regarding how good does high status stats work for sniper rifles since they are mostly slow fire rate weapons. Currently i do use dual elemental + status mods on my snipers taking the status chance on Lanka to 78.1%, Vulkar wraith to 78.1% & Snipetron Vandal to 68.1%. Is it better to use these dual stats mods ? Or should i change these to 2 90% elemental mods for more damage ?

Go for status builds only in case gas+electric combo. Otherwise go for raw damage and crit.

The Lanka can make use of its status chance because its base damage is purely elemental, meaning your proc distribution is not diluted with less useful proc types.

It's less useful to boost the status chance of physical sniper rifles due to their low rate of fire and diluted proc distribution.
