limbo quest question.

so limbo is the last frame i have to add to my collection, but in doing the quest ive only gotten the first piece. i have gotten no luck in the second archwing quest no matter the countless amounts of times i've tried, im wondering how its supposed to work. is it the archwing portion of the quest strictly rng, and at any round i can receive the parts? or im i supposed to reach the 4th wave every time for the rng to maybe possibly give me the piece?

You don't. Just do 1 round and extract. You get the components through excavation missions afterwards.

You dont get pieces of limbo. In archwing part, you get thingies to craft a key to excavation that gives the parts.

The Archwing part of the quest does not give Limbo parts. You get the parts from individual Excavation missions.

You only receive Limbo parts from excavations.

To access these excavations, you need Limbo Theorem quest item.

Co craft Limbo theorem (quest item, not the quest) you need Proof Fragments.

Proof Fragments drop from enemies on the quest archwing interception.

Technically, you can run only one round interception where you collect (if I remember correctly) 9 Proof Fragments and you never again have to run the archwing mission, you just do excavation for Limbo part -> craft it -> excavation -> craft -> excavation -> craft, voila.

The parts usually drop on the first 3 or 4 diggs.
