Nidus cured, but Cyst still growing?

So I decided to cure my Nidus of the cyst. everything was hunky-dory yet the next day I go to play and....I have a cyst again? and I can't sit in the chair to remove it anymore. Please tell me this is a bug that will be fixed! I can't find any information on it anywhere and the pink is clashing with all my colors :(

I believe Nidus can't actually be fully cured, to avoid players locking themselves out of acquiring a Helminth Charger later on.

You must wait for the Cyst to reach maturity (the little hair flailing out of the ugly thing) before having it impaled by Helminth the Infestation.

Well, you can't cure it at once anyway, only after it has fully grown, which takes 7 days. So wait and try again. If it fails again, write a bug report.
