0 NeithanDiniem
Considering that is an icon already owned by DE? My bets are no.
0 KlutzMeister
I hear transparency towards the center of an image will make it glow more and that emblems show up brighter then the base image, you may end up with a bright blob of light, not sure though as i have never put an emblem into the game. 0 NeithanDiniem
Nah, transparency isn't what makes it glow, its the overall brightness of the image. There is a general tint mask people recommend (i don't know the exact color) that will make it usable. Id suggest looking back at the recent (~18 hours) posts about emblems, as someone else asked a question about their emblem and if it would be acceptable and someone linked a tool that can show you your emblem in the same light/rendering used in-game. There was a clan that used the Flow picture, so copyright is only an issue if it's not from DE.

Flow is a mod, not a badge. The referral badges (there are 5) are unreleased assets by DE that have not been added to the game but based on their names were intended as rewards for people who used the referral system to bring players to the game. Since they are intended to be badges used as rewards for people, someone using it as a badge for their clan would circumvent that intended use. Its the same reason why someone couldn't just use the Skull badge or Founders badge for their clan logo as that would circumvent the reward people earned to get the right to display that as a badge, and DE would not allow it to be reused without enough significant editing. If DE has plans for the asset, they would likely deny it, wasting the plat cost of submitting the image for review. The safest bet is to submit a support ticket with the image, an acknowledgement of it being an official Warframe asset named "referral badge tier D," and a description of your intended use of the image as a clan badge with or without edits and see if they tell you if it would or would not be accepted. That could definitely be troublesome. Again no idea why would obsess with this instead of just making their own logo or get someone to make it.
