Items taken out of the vault

Do items ever return from the vault? If they do is it a regular occurrence or does it happen rarely?

When a new prime comes out, a Warframe along with the items it was released with will be unvaulted. According to the order of previously unvaulted Warframes, the next should be Rhino, Ankyros and Boltor Prime being unvaulted along-side Banshee Prime.

 

Edit: Also, Frost Prime has returned twice during the christmas/winter time, the second time coming alongside Ember Prime.

I'd assume that once a prime is unvaulted with a new prime, it only appears again during the winter time.

it's a regular occurence... it happens i think every 6 months and since the recent vault included 2 frames and their respective prime weapons... who knows if that's going to be a trend now

So far they have done Summer and Winter un-vaulting's as can be seen here: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Prime_Vault

They've never done an un-vaulting specifically when a new prime is released, if that has occurred in the past, then it has been coincidence.

Since it happens around 6 months apart, and primes are released every 3 months, there were 2 times welhere there's an unvaulting as well as a new prime, but this is not always the case.

Eg. Frost was unvaulted first december 2015 iirc, Mag was unvaulted during summer frost unvaulted at december. Then ember (and frost) unvaulted at december 2016, so rhino should be unvaulted during this year's summer, a little while after a new prime's realesed (the 1 after banshee)
