Do they lose affection AFTER you put them out the stasis or after the 3 hour cooldown?

They lose loyality even if they get downed...the reason i put my Huras in the fridge..

Degradation begins after the cooldown is over, however, it is a slow process. Loyalty begins to drain everytime the Pet gets downed in a mission, and how fast you pick it up results in how much, if any, loyalty is lost.

If you have the Incubation Upgrade Segment, the degrading times are significantly increased, giving the Pet more time before any degradation occurs.

Well, on the wiki it says 20% lost for every day you don't pet it and 40% lost for every death.

If a kubrow getting downed would reduce it, I'd have seen affection reach 0 tons of times already.
