Ymir was near the bar when the Gunshots rang out. Instinctively, his muscles tensed and he crouched down low to the ground. HIs armor retracted to his back as he silently slunk along the ground to the windows of the bar. Once close enough, he peaked in through the glass to get a view of the situation.

The grineer in gray armor gave Ymir an odd glance, but ultimately kept walking.

Svytoj began frantically poring over his IFF data, working to track Mia's last known location.
"Come on..." Svytoj huffed as he worked his way out of the pit, looking for an exit. "...Come on..."
As he reached the top of the pit, he got a hit. "YES! Sarah, I'm sending you Mia's last know coordinates."
A small Icon flashed onto the map of Sarah's HUD: with any luck, Mia should still be there.
"As soon as I get Aria out of here, I'm coming back!" The Frost said as he spotted a crack in the hull. "Until then, Good luck."
Before Svytoj could cut the line, The sound of a boar discharging filled the room. Svytoj looked into the pit as the intruder began pushing the wrecked rebar and metal debris off of him.
"...Sh!t..." Svytoj muttered, looking back to the crack in the hull. He carefully set Aria down as he limped over to the opening, pressing his hand against the metal as he began to super-cool the cracked section of hall.
Don't turn around.. Don't look at me.. He thought as ice began to form over the metal.

Sarah unslung her javlok, firing at the roof. It gave out easily, and Sarah shot out of the ship, using her frames magnetic capabilities to amplify her bulletjump. She landed on the outside of the ship, running towards the coordinates Svytoj sent. The outside of the ship had largely collapsed from Abigail ramming it forward and Mia overloading the core, but Sarah navigated to ruins as quickly as she could.

"Oh Mia," she muttered, "Why'd you have to go and nuke the ship?"

Nearing Mia's location, she hurled her javlok at the ship nearby, creating an opening. With a grimace, she dove back into the boiling-hot ship.

With a start, Mia forces her eyes open. During the freefall downwards the Nyx has miraculously avoid getting crushed by the crumbling superstructure only to find herself now stuck in what she can only guess is a small reinforced storage locker for the ghostly crew's more dangerous payloads. Scattered all around her were barrels and containers of volatile, flammable, explosive, corrosive, and radioactive weapons and barrels alongside dislocated lockers with warning labels long enough to make her eyes spin.

As Mia tries to get up off the diagonally leaning wall, a tidal wave of agony hits her. As fate would have it, her Orthos P manages to avoid being lost during the descent into the obelisk, only to find itself now impaled halfway through her white and green chest and nailed into the metallic wall like a sadistic work of art. Her wounds on her arm and leg are now freely bleeding again, as her energy reserves are running on empty and the energy siphon aura's meager regeneration rate is like filling a pool with half a sprinkler.

Shakily grasping her polearm, Mia attempts to pull it out of her body. An inch slowly squeaks out as she's slammed by another wave of suffering. Another inch, another surge of torment. Taking several labored breaths, Mia forces an unsteady burst of the void into her arms, causing the open wound to flare like a fountain. With an ear splitting shriek, she yanks the rest of her Orthos out in one swift motion, dropping the red coated weapon beside her with a clatter.

Her gaping bosom heaving in anguish, for an instance, a part of her just wants to embrace the growing darkness creeping behind her eyes. Then in the back of her head, a whisper purrs in. Aria's alive if out cold, though Mia half suspects she's dozing lazily away even in this dire situation. Filling with renewed drive to see her loved ones again, the Nyx picks herself off the wall and climbs up to check out the half open door now on the ceiling.

figures... Mia thinks to herself, taking a peek upwards through the crack. The entire door's been sealed off by debris from the floors above, and in her condition she's in no shape to attempt to pry it open. Time is ticking down, as already the floor wall is starting to get warm from the still going strong meltdown behind her. The injured Nyx is now stuck to the wall with no place to run. Well, if you can't run from the wall...use.it... Sliding back down, she forces herself to work, grabbing the nearest explosive barrel and the most intact empty. locker

When Abigail finally regained consciousness, her first sight was that of a girl around her age staring directly over her.

"Well, you like like you've been through the wringer a few times!" the girl said cheerfully.

Abigail shook her head, trying to clear her vision to get a better look at the other person. The first thing that Abigail noticed was that her skin was a a bizarre pale-gray, rather than any sort of healthy shade. One of her eyes was light brown, and the other light blue, giving her an exotic look. But most noticeably was her expression. A mischievous smile was plastered across her face, as if she was in on some sort of joke that nobody else was aware of.

she reached down, and at first Abigail thought she was going to lift her up, but instead the girl took Abigail's remaining weapons, inspecting them curiously.

"Hey Vars!" She said, turning to someone outside of Abigail's view, "Look what I found!" she held up Abigail's nikana and magnus.

"How wonderful Savrasa," A voice said dryly, "Now would you get back into your frame so we can get moving? I don't wanna be here when that ship goes off."

Savrasa grimaced, "You know, it's unhealthy to live in those things. You gotta experience the world through your own eyes!"

The other person - Vars, presumably - let out a loud sigh. "You know what's even more unhealthy? Being turned into paste by an overloading reactor. Get in your frame."

"Fine, fine. Just a second." Savrasa said, turning back to Abigail. She dangled Abigail's nikana over her face, still smiling.

"I'll be holding onto these for a while. Come find me when you've earned them back." She winked at Abigail, and then vanished. A dark shape stood up moments later, just out of Abigail's view.

Abigail tried to rise, but Sarah had broken her joints, leaving her unable to move. Abigail could do nothing but watch these strangers walk away with her weapons

The sensory apparatus running along the infested 'vines' focus on Mia curiously, relaying everything it perceives somewhere far away.

.........

Once again, Sarah stumbles through the smoke, looking for any sign of the nyx.

"Mia! Can you hear me!?" She shouts over the raging fires. "This ship isn't going to last much longer, where the hell are you!?"

Her armor was thoroughly charred now, with steam hissing out of cracks in her blackened armor. She looked like some kind of demon, rather than a tenno.

As Mia drags the last of the canisters into a pile with her one good arm, Sarah's voice blares out, more in the back of the Nyx's head than in her ears as the refuse above muffles out the Mag's voice. Not having the energy to shout back, Mia wearily reaches into Sarah's mind and pulls her eyes downwards, leading them onto the dense pile scrap metal and plastics Sarah is standing on, with just a slight corner of the half open yet buried blast door peeking out.

The air inside the confined storage room is starting to ripple like a mirror, and the lopsided wall is starting to bend and buckle from the heat behind it.

Dear Lotus, I hope the canisters hold... Mia barely manages to form in her head, as she hefts the intact locker on top of the makeshift bomb.

Svytoj had his body pressed flat to the ground as he watched the intruder. Between working to freeze over the hull, keeping and eye on him and Aria, and not knowing if Mia was aright, the frosts mind was thoroughly split.
He could hear the the metal at his hand beginning to pop and creak as he continued to focus his energy at the site.
As he watched the intruder limp around the rubble, Svytoj pulled Aria closer, preparing for his possibly hasty exit.
The intruder began looking over the puddle of dark fluid that Svytoj had left behind after the fall.
Svytoj took several deep breaths, pressing the barrels of his Redeemer against the the now frozen wall.

The blast of the redeemer shattering the steel echoed though the wreck bridge. G͟҉O̵͜͞!̀!̡!̶͢
The intruders head whipped around as the shot rang out, quickly pegging Svytoj as the source.
The Frost quickly grabbed onto the armor on Aria's shoulder as he deployed the dome, the intruder quickly closing. Even with his own limp, the man was closing in fast, quickly blinking up the mound of rubble in a series of red flashes.
With Aria in hand, Svytoj launched out through the jagged opening in the hull, a stream of dark fluid flowing behind him as a scrap of metal cut into his back.
As he went flying, Svytoj flipped to see the impromptu exit he had created: the shattered metal, the stream of dark fluid, the state of the rest of the ship, the unconscious Valkyr that had just been dragged along for the ride.
As the two closed in on the  ground, a massive collection of snow appeared below them, erupting in a fluffy mushroom cloud as the two made impact.
Svytoj quickly crawled from the pile, pulling Aria along with him. He looked over at the ship, eyeing the opening he had made in the hull for signs of the man.
The older cuts on his body had begun to close, but his leg was still badly angulated from the fall. He quickly grabbed onto his lower leg, straitening the deformed limb with a sickening screech of bending metal.
After correcting his leg, Svytoj began to assess Aria's condition, Med kit in hand as he tried to nail down what exactly had happened to her.
Come on kiddo, give me something to work with... Svytoj thought as he checked her head and neck for signs of damage or deformation.

The intruder watched from the opening in the hull, looking for a safe way down to his target.

Tarnas, stuck inside of they cryopod, with his body frozen and immobile, was occupying himself with his thoughts. His thoughts, though, were strange, even for him. He struggled to ignore the ever-present anger and rage. The anger wasn't anything new. He had put up with it for quite some time.

The rage was all he could think if now. It consumed his thoughts. All he wanted to do was punch his way out of this cryopod, snap Clogori's neck, tear off Svytoj's limbs-

No. He had to focus on getting out of here. He had to find out what was doing this to him. He needed to contact Tycho. He needed to slaughter everyone in Deadwood-

Where were these thoughts coming from? Every time he tried to think about anything, the urge to kill, to destroy, found a way into his thoughts. What happened to his focus? When he escaped that Formorian wreckage for the first time, his thoughts were only of completing his objectives. Now he seems to only be driven by his hatred and anger.

He assumed he was finally going insane at first, but aren't the insane unaware of their insanity? (Keep in mind that this is why Tarnas thinks he's okay after years of constant physical pain and total isolation.). Perhaps this was inevitable. All this time, having everything he had ever cared about destroyed in front of him constantly, having everyone turn on him, led to this. Maybe he should listen to those thoughts.

Maybe he should give in.

(So, those were basically just Tarnas' thoughts. I've been trying to emphasize how unaware Tarnas is of his insanity lately.)

I don't have too much specific information, but I know what Clogori's basic plans are. He knows more about the Infested in Tarnas than he lets on. If my intel is correct, Clogori purposefully infected Tarnas. For what purpose, I don't know. As for the other people he contacted, I couldn't find out exactly who they were, but my best guess is that Clogori isn't working alone on this. He has people helping him. The next message said.

Even with all the chaos raging around her, a surge of shock, fear and anger coursed through Sarah as Mia took control of her body. Mia may be a friend, and one of the few people Sarah trusted, but this crossed an unspoken line. Sarah could put up with the constant mind reading - Mia couldn't help it, after all, but this was different. It felt wrong, perverse, not unlike something the High Inquisitor would do. It might be a little thing, but that is how precedents are set.

Even as she was processing all this, she was scraping together what little energy she had. With a cry, she pulled on the scrap metal, yanking it off of Mia's storage container. The metal (And plastic carried along with the metal) slashed deep gashes into her chest and arms as it blew past, but Sarah paid no heed, sinking to her knees and digging through the remaining rubble to get through to Mia. Blood loss, extreme heat and sudden energy deprivation made her sway dizzily as she feverishly dug to get to the nyx.

Vitals remain strong although the head is in a state that would be lethal to most normal people; the entire helmet and neck is twisted almost a good three quarters of the way around with a huge bleeding gash on top. The rejuvenation aura is still functional at least, as the Valkyr's head is turning around, albeit only notice under very close scrutiny, and the pouring of fluids is steadily slowing on it's own. Preliminary brain readings show the frame is in an induced coma, though higher functions are still active. Her Galatine and Soma still remain firmly clenched in her hands.

Under her breath, Svytoj can hear, "...just...five more minutes..."

The rubble gives way like a pile of blocks, sending Sarah crashing into the storage room below with a bang. Inside, the Mag will see the heavily damaged Nyx lying face down inside an open locker lying on top of a pile of highly explosve barrels and containers bubbling furiously from the ambient heat. The frame's movements are next to nonexistent, Mia's chest barely moving, and her lower legs are completely caked in dried fluid from bleeding out. Parts of her body are flickering inconsistently in and out of view, and her vision's already faded to darkness. Entire sections of her body are already going black from the inferno closing in on the duo.

The words can barely be formed inside Sarah's head, Mia already on the cusp of losing consciousness.

The locker slams shut, the lock clicking, for whatever good it does. In Mia's shaking hand is a single energy restore. Dropping it onto the locker walls, as the first pulse flows out a shaped absorb blankets the duo and the locker.

Second pulse, a single psychic bolt forms outside and fires into the minefield below them just as the walls melt completely, exposing them to the radioactive inferno behind them. The resultant explosion sends them flying through the obelisk at blistering speeds, The absorb barely managing to hold out against the sheer forces propelling them outwards. Steadily, the cage crumples and shrinks before the impact forces and rising heat dispel the absorb entirely, sending a spike of temperature inside.

Third pulse, the absorb goes back up, though the locker continue to contract as BANG after BANG reverberate outside as the duo tear through the ship subsections. Again, the absorb drops and the temperature spikes, the locker becoming akin to a compact oven.

Last pulse, and the absorb rises for the last time, the handmade pod reaches maximum velocity fueled by the raging fireball behind them. The clanging through the metal floors still doesn't cease, As the absorb drops, the temperature inside reaches near boiling, and the locker has now become something of a coffin, with no wiggle room between the two Tenno at all.

After an eternity, with one last CRASH, the noise ceases and the temperature plummets as the mangled locker shoots out of the corpus hull and the chasing inferno like a bullet from a smoking gun, it's rough trajectory heading straight onto Aria and Svytoj. As the duo fly through the air, the locker finally breaks apart to pieces, sending the unconscious Nyx sprawling through the air like a puppet whose strings have been cut.

Behind them, the derelict finally collapses in on itself like a balloon with it's air let out, fully consumed by the reactor meltdown. With the still solid pieces of debris collapsing it on itself, the inferno will slowly, but surely burn itself out, though continuous smaller explosions continue to resonate.

She tried to send a message to Jane, or better yet her parents.

"Send help..." She managed speak into her comms between coughing fits, "Have injured...... Burns..."

Once she managed to choke out the handful of words, she collapsed in the sand, passing out from heatstroke and bloodloss.

Svytoj only had enough time to slide Aria out of the way before part of the locker slammed into him full force, sending him tumbling wildly across the desert floor before coming to a stop about 8 meters away. As the frost staggered to his feet, he lifted his helmet, coughing up a large glob of dark fluid before resecuring his coverings. He clenched his side, as large gash on his right dripping dark fluid as he limped over to his comrades.

Sometimes, everything in the world just goes your way.

Three. Three Tenno had been laid out; burned and beaten, all because of one rogue.
Svytoj worked to pull his comrades to the same spot, his hands and sides covered in dark fluid and blood as he worked. He quickly deployed a globe around the group, calling for his Liset as he began to assess the three.
Sarah was first.
The Frost quickly worked to patch the bleeds. As the bandages did their work, he hooked the downed Tenno up to an O2 tank, using a combination of medications and his own aura to help restore the function of her lungs. Finally, he hooked up an IV to one of her arms; the fluid introduced would help to carry oxygen and nutrients until Sarah could rebuild her blood supply.
Next was Aria.
Aria, I have no idea how you managed to survive with a neck that damaged... He thought as we attached as sythn- scanner to his head. He slowly began to manipulated the Valkyr's neck back into place, a combination of his regenerative aura and the feed from his scanner helping to ensure that her spinal cord wouldn't be damaged, as the reached the 1/4 mark, the scanner advised him to stop. He secured Aria's head to prevent further damage and let her innate regeneration finish repairing the damage. No further damage anticipated.
Finally, there was Mia.
He had seen the Nyx go flying like and unmoored pinwheel, wasn't quite sure what sort of damage to expect. He worked his way down the list: Was she breathing? did she have a pulse? Any spinal damage? Svytoj quickly assessed Mia as he provided O2 and patched any bleeds he could find.
He could faintly hear the sound of his landing craft approach as he worked, keeping his eyes open for any other damage, or worse, someone coming towards them.

"Listen, I'm putting the Nullifiers up around my ship now. Hopefully, I can stop anymore Infested coming from Tarnas." Clogori said.

Clogori's answer didn't sit well: not acknowledging a form of understanding, being evasive; Clogori was on thin ice.

A falx tore through the air, only coming to a stop once it was embedded halfway through the globe. A black and gold frost walked into view. He wrapped a hand around the grip of the falx, and gave it a sharp twist. A body-sized hole in the globe was created, and the frost stepped into the space inside.

He looked between each of the wounded tenno, nodding slowly. Wordlessly, he drew a standard lex, cocked it, and fired it at Sarah.

The sound of cracking ice was not new to Svytoj; the heat and debris desert would obviously take it toll on the globe.
But the the sound of the pistol being cocked didn't sit well with him. As the slide was pulled back, Svytoj went for his Redeemer, quickly catching a glimpse of where the Lex was pointed. As the shot was fired, the glint of the redeemer's edge flashed, it's edge catching the round as it sent it slamming into the soil at Sarah's feet.
Svytoj rose from his knees, turning to face the assailant, redeemer still clutched in his hand.

"I'M trying to contain this, and YOU'RE interfering!" Clogori responded angrily. "You have no idea how dangerous the situation is right now!"

I don't know why Clogori infected Tarnas. I don't know what he could gain from doing so. I can confirm he killed Tavus, but I have no idea what his motives or plans were. The next message said.

(I won't be on a computer for most of this week (I'll have my phone with me) and my phone's browser crashes when I use any ASCII85 translator.)

After a brief silence, satellite and radar imagery flashed onto the screen. A ship had begun closing in on Svytoj's, and by extension the intruder's, position. From the looks of it, it appeared to be a Xiphos.

((I'll leave this as plain text until you can translate ASCII again))
I remember one of my comrades stated that Tavus had a number of infections and injuries prior to his death. If you suspect that Tarnas was infected by Clogori here, I suspect that Tavus was the progenitor and that Clogori collected a sample after He killed him.

"What is this?" Clogori asked. "What's the point?"

I don't know. That doesn't explain why Clogori went out of his way to kill all of Tarnas' contacts. Maybe it was to prevent anyone from finding out about Clogori's plan.

If that is true, I would have thought there would have been several other individuals that would have been added to the body count: So far, only members of his old team or those whom he has worked closely with have been killed. Which makes it even more surprising for me, given that same comrade should have been attacked. He even witnessed the death of Tavus.

"What troops are you talking about?!  What are you doing?"

Only those close to him would have enough contact with him to find out about the Infestation. He didn't have contact with those outside of his group of informants. Anyway, we should be trying to figure out what Clogori's plan is.
