Understood. The gunship should be at your position. The green Xiphos pulled beside Mia's craft, opening fire on the condor's pursuing the it. Do what you can until I arrive.

Tarnas' arm immediately moved to the bolt, pulling it out almost instantaneously. His arm was a blur as he removed the bolt and counterattacked again, the next attack a stab to the upper torso. (Lungs)

The bold exploded in Tarnas's hand, sending thick smoke through the corridors, obscuring the intruders form. As Tarnas moved to stab the intruder, A wild spray of boar fire barrelled towards him as Explosive bolts embedded themselves in the walls, floor, and ceiling.

Tarnas' shields barely prevented the explosion from harming him. The shots fired from the Boar, however, ended up in his torso. Tarnas stumbled back, cloaking as soon as he regained his balance.

Marcus looked regretfully to the food in his arm before setting it down on the table.

"Unfortunately, it looks like I have once again been deprived of a hot meal." Marcus sighed.

"Deploying your archwing now." Rose said into his comms, "You're going to want to step outside, unless you want to explain a hole in that bartender's roof."

"Yeah yeah," Marcus muttered, quickly exiting the building. A dark spot in the sky began to grow into the silhouette of an odonata. It fell at insane speeds, its engines igniting only at the last possible second, coming to a hover just behind Marcus. As it clipped to his frame, Marcus turned towards Svytoj.

"Send me their coordinates. I'll see what I can do."

"Updating your transference feed to accommodate your archwing." Rose said. Marcus shivered as tendrils of cold snaked down his spine.

The engines of his archwing exploded to life, sending him rocketing upwards. When he reached a certain height, he slowed to a stop, waiting for the frost to send him coordinates.

A third dropship swerved into view, filling the space around the Xiphos with energy projectiles. The condor it had been firing at began to ascend in altitude, firing down at Mia and Aria's ships, while the other broke away to help combat the Xiphos.

Svytoj stepped outside the bar as an Elytron arrived, sending Markus the coordinates of his Xiphos as he synced with his archwing. The engines revved as the Frost was sent into the air, Barrelling towards the dogfight above.

The Xiphos Slammed into one of the gunships, changing course for the condor still firing at Mia's and Aria's ships. As it launched, a figure was ejected from the ship, moving towards the three other gunships as the engines of it's Odonata sprung to life. The archwing and it's passenger slammed onto one of the ships roof, the dragon like figure rising to its feet as the missile silos charged.

Tarnas stood there, decloaked. He watched the Intruder retreating.

Another flash of red, and the intruder was back. "NO! I AIN'T LETTING THIS GO! WHY THE F#CK IS HIS BLOOD ALL OVER THE GODDAMN WALLS?! WHERE IS HE!?" The intruder blurted, staying a moderate distance away from Tarnas. "WHERE IS THAT DAMN HUMONCULUS!?"

Marcus' gunned his archwing in the direction of the coordinates, eating up the distance at a frightening pace. As he neared the battle, he drew his imperator and began to fire at the condors.

............................................

A figure stood on the other end of the ship, grey sleeveless robes flapping wildly in the wind. Five void keys ran down each arm, and they crackled with pale blue-green energy. In each hand the figure held a lex prime, energy from the keys lazily drifting into the pistols. With his back to the wind, his grey hood stayed up, obscuring his face.

Without any preamble, he began to unload his weapons at the chroma, the bullets glowing with void energy.

The man in the grey robes smacked the veritux on the flat of the blade, knocking it off course and getting it stuck in the hull of the ship. The bullets that the chroma had batted aside began to arc back around towards the chroma, emitting a high-pitched whistle.

"Oh, my mistake!" the man laughed, "I didn't realize you weren't ready yet! Here, let me call off the attack right now!"

Even as he spoke, he was firing more rounds at the Chroma, keeping little distance between them so that the tenno wouldn't be able to use his sword effectively.

Suddenly, the Chroma was on the other side of the ship. Beside the grey-cloaked man now stood a loki, colored a similar shade of grey. It held an amphis, electricity crackling dangerously along it.

The grey-robed man dropped his pistols, which began to drift outward a few feet, hovering an inch above his hands. A thin trail of void energy connected each pistol to the lowest key on each of his arms. The barrels of each gun began to glow and spark with energy, and they continued to fire on their own.

As the two frames soar off towards the battle on the horizon, Lily reaches under the counter and presses a concealed button. In response, the thick metal covers hanging over the windows and door silently roll slide down and lock down into place. Putting the glass down on the counter, she deceptively quickly grabs the paper bag on the stone corner table and makes her way to the kitchen, tossing the bag into a large thermal container as she's met by Florence coming out of the carved passageway from the clinic.

"Did you hear the radio, dear~?" Lily asks sweetly.

"I heard, the bloody..." Taking a quick whiff of the air, Florence quickly cuts herself off. "By the Lotus girl, pull a hold of yourself. You're going to turn the entire settlement into a sludge pile if you keep that up." Leaping to action, the ebony girl quickly runs to the custom built ventilation hoods and turns them on full tilt, the almost tangible sweet scent being whisked away up the canyon and scattered out into the atmosphere.

"Oh, *giggles* sorry~ Guess I lost myself for a moment there~" Lily answers delightfully as she puts a gloved hand over her mouth. "Are you fine with closing the clinic for the day~?"

"The place is deserted until the workers make it back in the evening, assuming the storm doesn't hit them." Florence replies chillingly calmly, the pair having already crossed their abode's living room and riding the hidden elevator in their bedroom down. "Besides, someone's trying to off our family. Not even death itself will save them from the pain that awaits."

The ride reaches the bottom to the hidden hanger below, upon which the pair quickly bullet jump into action; Florence leaping into a Mantis and Lily gliding into a Xiphos, both painted as black as the abyss of space.

Jane and the others will be fine, love~ Because if they aren't..." Lily's left eye slowly opens up, revealing a pure white orb glowing brighter than the sun itself. Her smile, ticking up just a few notches, could scare the blind and make even the most brainwashed tubeman lose control of their lower bodily functions. Blood would freeze and proxies would burst into tears.

The crafts detach from their overhead clamps as the hanger doors built into the rock face slowly slide open. "...we are going to have a *very* stern talking to with the bad people~"

The thrusters roar to life and the two crafts jet off into the dusty skies and into the upper atmosphere, heading towards and above the firefight out in the wilderness as the hanger doors retract behind them, all trace of the hanger disappearing into the wind.

Back in the bar, as the last of the sweet vapors are vented out, the glass on the counter has become a shell of it's former self; melting into a small puddle, before vaporizing entirely. By deliberation or by chance, the stone surface below it is completely untouched.

One of the condors suddenly began to list to one side, its guns ceasing to fire. A soldier wearing a corrupted faceplate is sent flying out of the cockpit, his screams lost in the wind as he plummets towards the surface. A blue-grey excalibur could be briefly seen, though he seemed to be locked in combat with someone. Perhaps another grey-cloaked inquisitors was aboard his ship?

The loki lashes out with his amphis, delivering a flurry of blows aimed to impair the Chroma, whilst the grey-cloaked man turned his attention to the Xiphos. His bullets shrieked and arced through the air, exploding on contact with the tenno craft.

The remaining condor continued to fire at Mia and Aria's crafts.

Smoke billowed from the hull of the Xiphos as it continued to fire at the Condor, moving to ravage the engines as it struggled to stay aloft.

As the Xiphos continued it's assault, A single missile slammed into the side of the condor, Svytoj's archwing barrelling towards the ship.

The Chroma stood against the barrage, ravaged shields feeding into it's thick armor. As the 'frame began to bleed, It twisted it's massive blade into the hull, tearing a chunk from the vessel. As the torn metal flew through the air, the Chroma's archwing released it's payload; dozens of rockets flooding into the newly opened hull.

"Begin the scan, Tycho." Tarnas ordered. "How bad is it?" Tarnas asked as he repaired parts of his Redeemer.

"Not good. I predict you have a couple more months before it takes over completely." Tycho responded.

"And they'll have found me by then..." Tarnas mumbled. "Have they landed on the planet yet?"

"No. However, I believe they're sending the project leader to retrieve you personally." Tycho responded. "They're currently arranging for a way to capture you and bring you back."

"And if they do... The Subject will be finished." Tarnas mumbled again.

As the ships collided, The Chroma launched from the top of the ship, gunning it's engines for the Damaged Xiphos. As it barrelled towards the ship, it scanned the area for any other targets.

"No. However, I believe they're sending the project leader to retrieve you personally." Tycho responded. "They're currently arranging for a way to capture you and bring you back."

"And if they do... The Subject will be finished." Tarnas mumbled again.

The patchwork ship hovered near the Fomorian.
The man began to board his ship when something made him pause, looking out into the distance. He grabbed a pair of binoculars from a compartment on his ship, and began scanning the horizon beyond the crash ship...
But he found nothing.
Strange... Did I just imagine a seeing someone...?
The Intruder shook his head, dismissing the idea as he set a course for Deadwood.
He placed the blackened sand on one of the work benches.
One step closer, TinMan...One step closer...

(You walked right into this one.)

Tarnas was pacing back and forth, clearly thinking about something. Tycho resumed scanning every ship in orbit, looking for anything that would be out of place.
