Regarding the Stalker...

Was in a game with a friend when the Stalker came for me, so I found a Rampart and managed to chew through his health, however the split second before he died he one shot me through the Rampart?? I had around 500 shields and health at the time...is that even meant to happen? Because I was so close to killing him the entire thing just felt like a 'scripted cutscene' where he had to kill me for 'plot reasons' which I dunno whether is true or not, basically it just felt so wrong, like DE scripted this to happen or something

No. It wasn't scripted or due to plot reasons. Out of curiosity, which frame were you using? Just because you have 500 health and shields does not mean that Stalker can't one-shot you.

Yes it is normal. Normal Stalker's arrow can one shot players all the time.

500 shield and health not really consider high.. just mid perhaps.
