gas and slash with crit chance

Ive noticed that my Nikana prime will proc the two and one of them (or both) is doing crits on each tick so if someone could tell me which it is id be most gratefull

Slash Procs are effected by crits.

All Dots are indeed affected by crits, difference is that slash only scales off basedamage (basedamage x Basedamage mods, crit multipliers, headshots) while Gas and thus the base of the poison Dot scales off all base plus poison damage mods and more or less all multipliers (additional combo, stealth etc. Similar to weapon damage.)

Gas is kinda wasted on Physical weapons btw. Physical status has 4x higher odds to procc over elemental ones. Rather choose one that gives the best possible results with minor proccrate. Radiation, Corrosive and -Viral- are rather nice.
