Newbie with Questions about Endgame Contents

So... I'm about 60 hours into Warframe and I just beat The War Within, unlocked most of the nodes on most of the planets...

And with the help of some plats that I got earlier with 75% discount and donations from friends who had been in this game for awhile, I was able to forma and BiS mod my main weapons/frames/sentinels, which include Ash Prime, Soma Prime, Rakta Dark Dagger, Nikana Prime, Lex Prime, Sobek, Tonkor, Helios Prime, and Deconstructor Prime. I still have some nodes in the last three planets to complete, have to level up my archwings, and such. So I understand some of my immediate priorities for preparing myself for the highend pve contents.

But my ultimate goal is to well prepare myself for daily sorties and trials, which is where most of my RL friends are at. Of course, if I were to just play with my friends, I know I can just bring my Ash Prime and weapons because I know they wouldn't mind too much as long as I bring above-par set up on my Ash Prime. But I also want to be able to play with my new clan-mates and new guys I met and not be a burden to them when doing sorties or raids.

So I have some questions about minimum prerequisites to be able to complete sorties and trials without much trouble or asking my friends to complete them for me:

1. Is Ash Prime viable for all the sorties/trials? For instance, is someone gonna bash me for bringing Ash Prime for certain missions or raids? or is it absolutely necessary for me to make other warframes/weapons/mods that work best for each and different highend missions? Just in general, I'd like to know if Ash Prime is a viable frame to be used in highend sorties/trials regardless of the mission/enemy/tileset type.  

2. I built my Ash Prime and weapons for all-around, balanced functionality purposes, using popular builds on the web. Is it necessary to farm various mission/enemy specific mods (damage against certain enemy types) for different sorties/trials?

3. Do I need good riven mods on my primary weapons to be accepted in sortie/trial groups?

4. Excluding some of the weapons that I've mentioned above, are there any other weapons that I MUST get for some of the most difficult missions?

1 & 2. Nova, Trinity, Rhino, Volt. Show them some love and you won't need anything else. Of course you can play with Ash in sorties but it doesn't do much in raids. Eventually you will pick up other frames that might make some specific mission easier.
3. Nah. If you have them, well and good, but no you don't need it to do anything.
4. You have Tonkor. =D Go for Tigris Prime, Synoid Simulor if you want to cheese further but you have Tonkor -_- . I take it your tonkor is well modded.

1. People generally don't care in a pug match. Everyone runs what they want to run (sometimes that is part of the fun imho). However, people will be increasingly likely to moan at you if you bring things like a mirageulor (a lot of people still don't care, but that combo will increase the likelihood of provocation). Ash used to be in the same boat, but since they changed how his Ult works, he tends to fly under the radar. But generally (at least as far as i've seen) people aren't picky in Pug matches.
2. You probably should build to specialise in some way. Find a way to like to play ash, and mod in that direction - Maybe you like to spam shuriken? So put as many efficiency mods on as you can get away with (who cares if the cap is +75%, right? ;)) 
3. No. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise either. If someone has this mentality, then they're probably not good to run missions with anyways.
4. Dex Sybaris, and Akstiletto Prime are favoured by quite a few people. There's also the two Tigris variants (Prime, and Syndicate) that people also enjoy.

1. in 9 of 10 sorties and in all raids id bash you for bringing edgelord instead of a useful frame
   get yourself a decent loki(prime) + frost(prime) + nova(prime)
   one of these 3 is always viable for 99% of the missions since all of them offer enough possibilitys to mod them for all missions
2. since there are no high level enemies anymore and no reason to play endless missions till the enemy level gets interesting there is no real reason to specify build to much
   but since you are using " popular builds on the web" id recommend you to understand them and to switch out mods
   you need to be able to tell for every single mod why you are using it and why not a different mod
   only then you will be able to adjust your gear to your personal playstyle
3. nope
   apart from that proofing that every member has them before starting a mission would be a pain in the a**
   you shouldn't care about rivens if you get them good if not then whatever
   no content will ever be balanced around rivens
4. you are missing a melee weapon ... nikana prime is for weeaboo showoff not for fighting
   id recommend orthos prime or lesion or secura lecta or atterax or something like that good range good damage
   for primary you want one of each weapon type (hinting at sorties) so get a sniper and a bow on top of the stuff you already have
   although get a secondary weapon something like vaykor marelok or akstiletto or (ak)lex is fun and pretty good id say
   for some missions id although recommend something like the torid in case you ever need status

then all left to do is get all the prime mods in your gear and you should be pretty good prepared

Hmm.. I'm more curious why you chose Ash Prime?
