My friend's launcher crashes before it finishes updating, it gives this error: WAR-1234063

If you play on steam you could try to verify the game files:

 1. right click on the game

 2. click "properties"

 3. go to "local files"

 4. click "verify integrity of game files..."

 5. let it check the files and retrieve any that might be missing

If that doesn't help all I can say is to contact Warframe support.

hes done that, and hes contacted support. support didnt work either

Has he tried reinstalling?

as MagPrime said his last option would be to reinstall

-Was he able to play the game before on that same pc?

-If he was able to play before, see if any other program was installed between updates.

-Does he have any anti-vírus active during instalation? (i had issues with McAfee where the antivirus just straight up quarantined one of the warframe files the launcher was installing);

-See if any other 3rd party programs are messing the instalation, like other steam games downloading/installing games, or any other 3rd party programs. 

-Fresh install and see if the same error pops up;

-See if your pc has enough space to install it ( i know this one's probably not the case, but check anyways);
