I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

I'm still a newbie with Warframe and just got Octavia Prime for the first time, so I'm having a blast with this thread.  Thanks for all your work!  I took a stab at doing a version of "Love on a Real Train" by Tangerine Dream.  The original version is a bit slow, so I found a more upbeat remix to try and target:

Here's what I've come up with so far.  I think I got the melody down, but not sure I'm happy with the bass line.  I blatantly copied the percussion from one of your other songs.

The only part of that which works is in the small clip you mention, but it's the sparse, upper bell part and it's not going to be recognizable to anybody.

You need a sixth note above the other five to do the melody you're trying to do correctly.  Even if you had that, you can't do the bass and that melody together and have them be in the same key.

Ironically, the synth lead added by the remix does work perfectly, but it doesn't appear in the original.
