I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Hi there,

I completely forget this thread existed, because I meant to come back ages ago. But I'm glad to see you're still doing these! I'm sure you hear this a lot, but thank you for all the hard word you do!

If it isn't too much to ask, I was wondering if this song, I Was Lost Without You from Mass Effect 3, would work (since its relatively slow). https://youtu.be/9y5Ufej98vc?t=102 The part I'd be most interested in is the timestamp (1:42, where the music shifts).

But if that isn't possible, there's a cover of K/DA's POP/STARS by "Seraphine." I don't know if it would be any different from the original, but I figured I'd ask about it. https://youtu.be/-tczkuOiD5s?t=46 I don't know if that part (the "down, down, down" bit especially) is doable (I'm not too music savvy when it comes to Warframe haha), but I'd be absolutely grateful with anything at all!

Hey Buff00n! I'm relatively new to the Shawzin and I'm wondering if you could find how to play this riff from GOAT by Polyphia.

It may be a bit tough since its a bit quick (and it may be out of the shawzin's range)? Not sure but good luck!!!

Yeah, my Shawzin queue's sitting at about 75 riff requests and 100 full song requests, which is why I only accept requests from YouTube comments.  On YT it's easier to just not respond rather than tell everyone "I'll might get to yours sometime before 2025". 

Also, that's definitely impossible on a Shawzin without either butchering it to hell or using a bot and butchering it to hell.
