I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Finally an Animal Crossing song I can do, but tempo is a problem.  I tried both "too fast" and "too slow", and decided "too slow" sounded better.

Never been great at putting notes on a page and mandachord adds to the frustration a bit. I wanted to do a simple song to start out but can't seem to do even that at least well. If you could manage to fit this song in I would be forever grateful.

I just want the Character Select @2:22

Please ignore the vocals and focus on the synth melody. You can "merge" guitars and drums together since they follow each other. The main synth melody can be - well - the melody. Meanwhile, the backing layers of synths and/or symphonics can be the bass. Just a suggestion.

The Browning - Fallout - either 2:11or 2:22. Listen from 2:00, though, to hear the haunting synth melodies on their own.

Your link is already lawyer'd, and I literally can't find a good clip of it.  The best I could find was this, and from what I can tell of the synth part it's not going to work.

Your second is similarly not going to work.  That genre in general rarely works on a Mandachord.
