Which Akstiletto Riven should I use?

Question

Howdy Tenno!

Am currently using this Riven A.

Recently got this new Riven B and am wondering which one is better.

On paper (WF Builder), A seems better but I read somewhere that WF Builder doesn't handle Crit computations well (for B), so here I am tapping on the collective wisdom of the Tenno Community!

Well at a glace the first would be better for Infested/Corpus while the 2nd would be better with armor.

Builder works fine mostly. But in this case you might want to know the head-shot DPS of both to compare since the additional crit does not factor the x4 head-crit modifier. Which would make their DPS when scoring head-shots a little closer than on paper. You'd also want to prolly calculate your expected status trigger per shot to see just how much the -%status is affecting the mod which can't be done with builder either.

(518.214 + 932.786) * 0.4305 * 1 * 4.2 * 2 * 2 = 10,494.2124
(518.214 + 932.786) * (1 - 0.4305) * 1 * 2 = 1,652.689

0.3104 * 0.6315048 * 13.579 = 2.66

Riven B Head-shot Damage
(380.336 + 832.446) * 0.5718 * 1 * 4.2 * 2 * 2 = 11,650.275
(380.336 + 832.446) * (1 - 0.5718) * 1 * 2 = 1,038.627
= 12,688.9015 Damage per Shot or 143,739.876 Burst DPS
Riven B Status
0.84 Expected Status Trigger per shot
Corrosive Weight 208.1115 / 588.4475 = 0.354 = 35.4%
Expected Corrosive Status Trigger per Second
0.354 * 0.84 * 11.328 = 3.365

On builder Riven A has 20% more Burst DPS than Riven B. With Head-crit modifiers it has 14% more.

Sustained DPS would be even closer given the 1s reload, small mag size and that Riven A burns through the mag faster. If you notice the avg head-shot damage of Riven B is actually higher than Riven A before fire rate is taken into consideration. Riven B will give you 0.705 more Corrosive procs per second.
