Do Sentients always spawn on Lua?

I really, REALLY like the feel of Lua (especially the Crossfire Extermination, probably my favorite mission in the whole of Warframe), but I really, REALLY hate needing to deal with Sentients. I'd rather deal with syndicate death squads or Stalker.

Do they always spawn at some point or is it just a chance that they will?

Depends on the mission from my previous experience. They'll spawn almost everytime on crossfire and Capture

I've never seen them when I do Lua spy (and I do a lot of spy). They always spawn on survival missions at fixed time intervals. As for crossfire, if you don't get detected by the Oculysts, then the other units won't spawn and you don't have to fight them.
